The activities of Comp-act revolve around composting and eco-friendly solutions in order to assist vulnerable groups of people integrate in the society and sustain themselves. It is part of the Bluprint project of the Greek Evangelical Church of Glyfada.
Comp-act is a composting initiative that contributes to our mission. With the rich soil cultivated by composting, we began with a garden, which is currently being extended to a nearby field.
The vegetables cultivated through these gardens are shared with the local homeless population. In this way, Comp-act offers a way for refugees to serve the local community practically, provide for tangible needs, and help protect the local environment.
Comp-act is also a touchpoint for reaching the local community, as many in the local community desire to participate.
